Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: two individuals from two sites. Caught in flight trap from 9 March – 11 August 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern United States.
Saproxylic habits.
Emerged from a standing dead water oak ( Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a); adults also occur within dead tree trunks ( Ciegler 2014).
Conservation.
Apparently lost after 1925 from the fauna of Plummers Island, Maryland, possibly due to changing forest conditions ( Steiner 2008).
