Polemistus fukuitor Tsuneki View in CoL in Tsuneki et al., 1992: 15, female, male. Holotype: female, Philippines: Mindanao: Bukidnon, Sungeo (Smithsonian Museum).

Diagnostic characters: This species can be differentiated from all other species of Polemistus View in CoL by having the following combination of characters: head and thorax with a distinct greenish sheen; head without a longitudinal carina in front of the anterior ocellus; scapal basin without a carina at its anterior margin; medially truncated free margin of clypeus, triangular tooth on either side; mesopleuron features scrobal, episternal, and hypersternal furrows that create a C-shaped furrow group; mesoscutum lacks foveolated furrows and notauli; the basal hollow of scutellum divided into two cells by a median carinule.
