Pseudogeoplana stolli ( von Graff, 1899) View in CoL

von Graff (1899: 314; plate II, fig. 22; GUATEMALA: Sacatepéquez: Antigua)

External diagnosis ( von Graff 1899). Very flat, less than 1.5 mm thick, about 60 mm long and 8 mm wide. Dorsal color evenly brown, lighter at the sides of the anterior region, forming a lighter marginal stripe on each side, delimited by a black border that disappears at about the middle of the body. Venter evenly brown. Relatively large eyes forming a single row at the anterior end right above the black border.

Remarks. von Graff (1899) provided only a drawing of a fragment of this species showing the color pattern near the anterior end ( Figure 16a View FIGURE 16 ). Two specimens from Guatemala on iNaturalist match the description remarkably well. Figure 16b View FIGURE 16 shows the pattern in one specimen.

Possible iNaturalist records ( Figure 17 View FIGURE 17 ). GUATEMALA — Baja Verapaz • Purulhá ; 15.2176, -90.2217; 1672 m a.s.l.; 5 Apr. 2022; annaro1 obs.; #110637413 • Purulhá; 15.2157, -90.2194; 1682 m a.s.l.; 5 Apr. 2023; rudybotzoc obs.; #154092665 GoogleMaps .
