TYPE LOCALITY. — [ USA], Texas, Davis M[oun]t[ain]s, Fort Davis.
TYPE SPECIMENS. — Described from 15 male and 5 female syntypes (BMNH).
REMARK
No reference was found to document the occurrence of this taxon in Mexico, but the proximity to the border makes its occurrence in Mexico likely. Originally described as a subspecies, the taxon was recombined as a valid species by Watson & Goodger (1986: 20). Toulgoët (1994c: 126) erroneously recombined it as a form of labecula .
