Discussion. This species is known from a single poorly preserved specimen from the upper Konkian calcareous sands of Georgia. It differs from similar morphs of Polinices staszici ( Friedberg, 1923) with constricted columellar callus in the character of its margin towards the umbilicus. The columellar callus margin is sharp in the Konkian Pseudolinices species, whereas in P. staszici the callus margin slopes gradually into the umbilicus. Therefore, the Konkian specimen might represent another species.
Paleoenvironment. Shallow marine, inner neritic.
Eastern Paratethys. Late Konkian (Middle Miocene): Transcaucasia : Agara ( Georgia) ( hoc opus).
