Type Locality. Nepal : Arun valley , Sankhuwasabha District, Province No. 1 [Arun V., Aruntan, east Nepal] .

Type Depository. Holotype, M ( NHMB); 70 Paratypes, SU ( NHMB, SIZK).

Distribution in India. Sikkim **, West Bengal (Darjeeling District, Kalimpong District).

General Distribution. India, Nepal ( Dolin 1993; Schimmel & Tarnawski 2009).

Remark. The presence of this species in Darjeeling & Kalimpong districts, West Bengal, is confirmed through data labels of the type specimens (courtesy of I. Zürcher, NHMB).
