Quasimus coolsi Dolin, 2001: 134 (original description; published type locality: Barwai, India; another locality-India: Jharkhand); Korneev & Cate, 2005: 14 (type catalogue); Schimmel & Tarnawski, 2009: 113 (catalogue; “ India: Bengal”).

Type Locality. India: Barwai , Jharkhand [Inde, Barwai] .

Type Depository. Holotype, M ( RBINS); 54 Paratypes, 19 M, 25 F, 10 SU ( MNHN, RBINS, SIZK).

Distribution in India. Jharkhand (Gumla District).

General Distribution. India, Myanmar (Dolin 2001; Schimmel & Tarnawski 2009).

Remark. Based on the data labels provided by Dolin (2001: 134) and information from Candèze (1892: 481), Hayek (1973: 273), and Parekar et al. (2024: 57), the locality is added as Jharkhand. Konbir is a village in the Gumla district of Jharkhand.
