Rhinanthoideae is considered as intermediate subfamily in between the advanced Antirrhinoideae and the primitive Pseudosolaneae.

From the all foregoing data, the states of the most significant floral morphological attributes are dealt with and arranged in an evolutionary order. The sum of the values given to a taxon is considered as evolutionary score for that taxon. Based on these scores, the taxa under investigation showed 12 grades having corresponding score ranging from 27 to 41 ( Table 4 View TABLE ).
