( S. sancta Griseb. ):

S. kotschyi Boiss. , Diagn. Pl. Or. Nov. 3 (2): 65 (1856), a species from Asia Minor, which differs in its subacute, somewhat glaucous leaves, ciliate towards the base but not denticulate, and its lax inflorescence with pedicels 4-10 mm, has been claimed for Europe on the strength of a single plant in a mixed sheet from C. Greece (Khiona), but requires confirmation.
