HT: ♂ Brazil, Goiás, Lagoa de Pedra , west of Rio Cana Brava , 160 km NE Brasília on Brasilia-Fortaleza Highway (BR-020), 30.X.1974, L. Knutson & A. Bredt. Lost. Lectotype designation needed.

Note 1: According to Knutson & Bredt (1976), the holotype was deposited in the MZUSP; however, according to Carlos José Einicker Lamas (MZUSP) (in litt. 3 September 2019 to WLM), it has never been deposited there. Luciane Marinoni (in litt. 17 September 2019 to WLM) stated that the type was in the DZUP and that she planned to return it to the MZUSP in October 2019. As of 28 June 2022 it had not been returned to the MZUSP. MZ052918.

Note 3: Marinoni & Mathis 2006: 51 noted that S. barbosai occurs in Minas Gerais but did not provide a specific locality.
