HT: ♂ Brazil, Goiás, Rio Preto , 70 km northeast of Brasília, 20 km south of Formosa, 21.X.1974, L. Knutson. Lost. Neotype designation needed.
Note:According to Knutson & Bredt (1976), the holotype was deposited in the MZUSP; however, according to Carlos José Einicker Lamas (in litt. 3 September 2019 to WLM) at MZUSP, it was never deposited there. Luciane Marinoni (in litt. 17 September 2019 to WLM) stated that the type was in the DZUP and that she planned to return it to the MZUSP in October 2019. As of 28 June 2022 it had not been returned to the MZUSP. MZ052917.

Barbosa). Paratypes in MZUSP and USNM. The paratype material was, in part, recorded incorrectly in Freidberg et al. 1991.
