(Figures 41–55)
Measurement. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 6.8 mm (except tegmen: 3.1 mm), length of tegmen: 5.9 mm.
Coloration. Body brown to dark brown. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellow and disc dark brown (Fig. 41). Frons yellow, with lateral marginal carinae yellow (Fig. 43). Postclypeus black, longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae almost same color as clypeus. Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Figs 42, 43). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellow (Figs 41–43). Pronotum dark brown, with a transverse yellow streak at middle and two indistinct yellowish brown streaks on each lateral part, margins and median carina yellow (Figs 41–43). Mesonotum brown to dark brown, lateral parts and medioposterior third part darker, with longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae yellow, scutellum with posterior margin yellow (Fig. 41). Tegula yellow (Figs 41, 43). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with two continuous transverse dark brown bands from anterior margin to posterior margin at connection of Pcu+A 1 and apex of clavus level, another interrupted one at first r-m level, irregular dark brown markings in apical quarter, costal cell with tiger stripes, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 46). Wings off-white and semitransparent, with a dark brown stripe at base and brown markings in apical quarter, dark brown stripes along veinlets and transverse branches of veins, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 47). Coxae of fore and middle legs black, rest yellowish (Figs 42, 43). Abdomen dark brown with three rows of small yellow spots on tergite V to VII. Male terminalia yellowish brown, slightly darker at apex.
Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.4 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 41). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 42). Antennae with pedicel about 2.3 times longer than widest part and shorter than frons (Figs 41–43). Mesonotum about nine times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with three longitudinal carinae, median carina straight and lateral two curved towards middle at posterior third (Fig. 41). Tegmina narrow and elongate, about 3.6 times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP slightly beyond middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Fig. 46, 77). Wings with MP two-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 47). Left metatibiotarsal formula: 4-6-7 (Fig. 44); right metatibiotarsal formula: 4-5-8 (Fig. 45).
Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view, subrectangular, wide basally and slightly narrow distad, sharply constricted to round angular at apex, with anal stylus at middle, epiproct wide and nearly oval, paraproct long and oval (Figs 49, 50), in lateral view, widest basally, narrow and straight apically, dorsal margin convex dorsad at basal third, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part, ventral margin angular ventrad at basal two fifths (Fig. 48). Pygofer narrow, in lateral view, ventral half curved cephalad (Fig. 48), in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior margin straight and posterior margin slightly convex at middle. Gonostylus narrow and long, slightly curved, in dorsal view, hook-shaped, narrow centrally and incurve apically (Figs 49, 52); in lateral view, bifurcated apically into two processes, one of which small and triangular on dorsal side, pointed at apex and directed dorsoinward, other one large and triangular underneath, directed caudad; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface, in addition, with a small hook-like pointed process at subapical part of it and directed cephalad, and a conical lobe protruded caudad on inside below it, blunt acute and hirsutiusculus (Figs 48, 51). Phallic complex short and stout in appearance, in dorsal view, periandrium with right margin somewhat arched outwards (Fig. 54); in lateral view, periandrium arched ventrad centrally and gradually constricted distad, ventral basal angle protruded strongly, forming a large triangular shape (Figs 53, 55); with three short processes, from left to right: 1) a subconical process on left side, directed dorsad, wide basally and sharply pointed apically; 2) a process at middle, directed cephalad, arched basally and pointed apically; 3) a spinous process at apex, directed caudad (Figs 53–55).
Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( NWAFU), Qixianling Mountain , Hainan Province, China, 320 m, 28 Jun. 2009, coll. Wang Manqiang.
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the close resemblance of tegminal markings and tegminal venation to S. trizona , sp. nov.
Remarks. This species is significantly different from the currently known species of Shizuka by its unique phallic characteristics.
