Sicarius terrosus View in CoL : Chamberlin, 1916: 214, plates 9 – 10 (misidentified, probably this species).
Note: We could not re-examine Chamberlin’s specimen (MCZ 20753) before it was lost at the fire at Instituto Butantan in 2010, but the locality data ( Santa Ana , Peru) and sternum morphology indicate it most probably refers to this species.
Type material: Male holotype from BOLIVIA .
