Annual up to 50 cm, often woody at base. Leaves 10-25 x c. 1 mm, semicylindrical, acute, or acuminate. Cymes dense. Fruiting perianth not inflated, green. Seeds smooth, mostly horizontal. 5. Russia, S. Ukraine,?Moldavia. Rs (W, K, E).
