There is no objective replacement name but N. serena View in CoL is congeneric with Phalaena brassicae Linnaeus, 1758 View in CoL , the type species of Mamestra Ochsenheimer, 1816 View in CoL . The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name ( Nye 1975). Lödl et al. (2019) did not mentioned any this about this case.
