Like 2 but bulb-tunics densely woolly inside with long undulate hairs; leaves 5-7, up to 20 x 2 cm, the margin somewhat undulate; perianth bright orange to brownish-red, the outer segments 42-50 x 12-14 mm, elliptic-oblanceolate, subobtuse, the inner 45-52 x 18-22 mm, elliptic-oblanceolate, obtuse; filaments 10- 12mm; anthers 7-5-9 mm. Sandy fields and stony ground. • S. Greece. Gr.
