Usually perennial, but sometimes annual or biennial. Stems c. 20 cm, usually erect. Leaves and stipules often narrow, lanceolate. Upper petals bright violet, remainder yellowish; lateral petals without veins, lower petal with few or no veins. 2zj= 26. Meadows, up to more than 2000 m. Balkan peninsula.
