Xizangocerus chayuensis Xue & Zhang sp. nov.

Description. Length (including wings): male 4.4–4.5 mm, female 4.4 mm.

Crown with black markings between black markings (female larger than male) and midline ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Face with pair of square black markings basally between eyes and midline; lorum black except outer margin yellowish; anteclypeus black except anterior margin brownish; gena yellowish except inner margin black ( Figs 7D, 7F View FIGURE 7 ). Male frontoclypeus yellowish in basal 0.3 length, with pair of black markings; apical 0.7 length black with yellow markings in middle ( Fig. 7D View FIGURE 7 ). Female frontoclypeus mainly yellow, anterior margin black, with pair of black markings basally and several black spots on either side of midline ( Fig. 7F View FIGURE 7 ). Pronotum ochraceous, with two dark brown markings near lateral margin. A large black marking between mesoscutum and scutellum ( Figs 7C, 7E View FIGURE 7 ).

Male genitalia. Segment X internal process apical half stout ( Fig. 13A View FIGURE 13 ). Pygofer ventral margin with inner process, and the apex of this inner process fork-shaped. Style ventral margin smooth near apex, dorsal margin with few short and fine setae ( Fig. 13F View FIGURE 13 ). Connective T-shaped, wider than long, anterior median lobe present ( Figs 13B– C View FIGURE 13 ). Aedeagal shaft tubular, apex flake with 1 triangular process on ventral margin and 2 triangular flake processes on dorsal margin ( Figs 13D–E View FIGURE 13 ).

Type material. Holotype, ♂, China, Xizang Autonomous Region, Linzhi City , Chayu County, Shangchayu Town , 2019.vi.8, 1900m, coll. Lin Lu ( NWAFU) ; Paratypes: 1♂ 1♀, same data as holotype ( NWAFU) .

Etymology. The species epithet refers to the type locality where the species lives.

Remarks. This species differs from Xizangocerus gyirongensis sp. nov. in its aedeagus apex flake and with 3 processes.
