Comment: Zonstein (2019) identified the species based on females from the material in the collection of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris. He concluded that the absence of the males in the studied material makes the current tentative identification of the algerian species problematic and preliminary. As the species has not been sampled since Simon, its presence in Algeria cannot be certified with any great certainty, but it cannot be excluded either, given that according to Zonstein the females present many similarities with thoses of Nemesia macrocephala .
